1) To Know Jesus Christ is where all relationships begin - The Introduction - we are introduced to Jesus and in our hearts we feel a pull or a longing to know Jesus better. At St Peter's we introduce people to Jesus through our public time of worship. By the time our theme focused time of worship concludes, it is our goal that those in attendance know Jesus a little bit better than when service began. We achieve this by combining meaningful music, God's Word and teaching into a time where Jesus is uplifted and glorified for all to see and participate in.
2) To Follow Jesus Christ is the second leg of our journey - A time of Discovery and Change - Like the 3 years the 12 disciples had with Jesus. This is when we learn "Who Jesus really is and what He has to offer". It is also a time for us to reflect on our own lives and discovery of how much we need Jesus in our lives. At St Peter's we believe Faith is not a Journey in Isolation. Relationships are never in isolation and this is why we walk side by side with people in this journey. No journey is without its bumps in the road and with our Faith Mentors, Pastoral Support Group and our Small Groups we are there to pick each other up, dust each other off and continue together in Knowing Jesus Christ.
3) To Duplicate Jesus Christ - The greatest form of admiration is duplication. When the Holy Spirit enters our hearts and our relationship with Jesus has grown to the point where we have the desire and the drive to reach out, St Peter's is there to help take what Jesus has taught you and activate it in your life. Each and every one of us is different and we understand that. At St Peters we encourage and assist everyone to duplicate Jesus' teachings in the daily lives. As time progresses and the relationship with Jesus grows, St Peter's is there to help you in the exploration of how you can express your admiration and thanks for all that Jesus has done in your life.
To Know - To Follow - To Duplicate Jesus in Our Lives

We are passionate about Knowing Jesus, Growing in Him, and Sowing His love.
Our vision statement above emphasizes that discipleship is a process that moves people toward greater levels of commitment and spiritual maturity. The following sketches out our discipleship process at St. Peter's.
1. Knowing Jesus
We know the Triune God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and his purpose for our lives through God’s revealed word, the Holy Bible, where God makes himself known to us by coming in the person of His only Son, Jesus of Nazareth, our Lord and Savior, who died on the cross to pay for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures.
2. Growing in Jesus
Deep people of faith can’t be forged just on a Sunday morning. God wants an ongoing relationship with his people whereby, as his disciples, we become more and more like Jesus. The main word to describe a follower of Christ in the bible is not the word “Christian”, but it is the word “disciple”. The word “disciple” means a “student” or “learner”. A disciple is someone who follows a revered leader and tries to become an exact impersonation of the one who is followed.
Spiritual growth is the process of a believer being transformed into the image of Christ, becoming the people we believe God is calling us to be. According to Scripture, a believer’s life is to be transformed more and more. People are not supposed to be stagnant. There is to be progression, movement. Our churches should be filled with people who are becoming. Becoming more like Christ and to do so with ever-increasing glory (more like Him tomorrow than they are today). Growing in our faith means spending time with God through, for example, personal devotions, prayer, study, time in fellowship, and reading his Word, the Holy Bible. In order to be a disciple, you must spend time with your Teacher.
3. Sowing His love
The Great Commission (Matthew 28:16-20) is to help to bring people to God as devoted learners (disciples) who will enthusiastically seek to learn and be transformed into the likeness of their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ; conforming their thinking to Scripture, honoring God with their lives and actions, loving God with all their heart, soul, mind and strength and, secondly, loving and serving their neighbor as themselves and making the Word of God and his Good News (Gospel) message known. Discipleship has been described as “people leading each other to maturity in Christ”.
Within the Sowing component of the illustration above is a Greek word for love, translated into English as “agape”. Agape is love as revealed in Jesus, spiritual and selfless and a model for humanity.
